Packaged Living is delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted for two awards at this year’s Property Week Awards; Entrepreneur of the Year and Newcomer of the Year.

Since establishing in May 2018, Packaged Living already has a development pipeline of over 1,000 homes across three major projects in Milton Keynes, Newcastle and Manchester, which have a combined GDV of over £225m.

Within 3 months of being established, Packaged Living secured its first deal in Milton Keynes with the project granted planning permission to develop 294 PRS apartments, making it the largest BTR scheme to be brought forward in the town. In addition to the living space, the development will also include significant resident amenity areas, commercial areas & flexible community space, all combining to deliver local living at its best.

Having hit the Property Week headlines in August 2018 as the new kid on the block, Packaged Living soon added Quayside 12 to its growing portfolio. This project is located in the heart of Newcastle’s Quayside and will be one of the first BTR schemes to be delivered in the city. The development of tiered terraces, communal spaces & over 300 homes delivered in partnership with Robertson Construction was chosen by Homes England from a number of bids providing further testament to Packaged Living’s experience & capability to provide stand out residential buildings nationwide. Since acquiring Quayside 12, Packaged has added a further site in Manchester creating an additional 350 homes in a sustainable community which will surpass existing rental experiences in the city.

Packaged is steadily growing both its internal teams and contributing significantly to local employment with the average development creating 200+ construction roles and 20 full time positions. Mark Woodrow, former Director of Development at Grainger, joined Ed at Packaged in 2019. Further development staff continue to join as the construction works commence on Milton Keynes. In an effort to stay ahead of the times, Packaged are committed to delivering sustainable and energy efficient buildings for their customers, as they understand the ever-growing need for green developments, and their duty as a corporation to contribute towards a cleaner world for the future generations. They’re working with some of the most proficient builders and architects to promote off-site building techniques and travel in the direction of building carbon neutral developments, taking their role and responsibilities of a growing business seriously. This will ensure that each of their developments exceeds expectations for sustainable developments, as well as providing their customers with next generation homes.

Packaged Living is honoured to have been shortlisted for these awards alongside many other great companies, and very much looks forward to the awards ceremony in April. Our fingers are crossed!
