Packaged Living, the UK’s fastest growing Build to Rent specialist, further expands its acquisitions team
Packaged Living welcome two new team members.
Packaged Living, the build to rent specialist, welcomes two new team members to their Multi Family and Single-Family Housing platforms.
Last week, Neil Terret joined Packaged Living to grow the group’s land portfolio with a specific focus on land for single family housing. Neil brings 22 years of investment and acquisition experience on both immediate and strategic land having worked in senior roles at various UK housebuilders. Packaged Living’s Single-Family Housing platform was launched in October last year and will work with volume house building partners to develop and operate a nationwide portfolio of 5,000 single family homes over the next 5 years across the UK. Packaged Living is seeking to grow its land bank to support the growth of the platform partnering with housebuilders on its sites.
The second appointment this month welcomes Ed Owen to the team. Ed will focus on sourcing sites for the Multi-Family Housing platform and creating further partnerships with landlords looking to reposition and repurpose existing commercial, retail and leisure assets. Ed has a wealth of transactional experience in the commercial real estate sector having previously been an Executive Vice President at Melburg Capital where he was responsible for sourcing, funding and acquiring assets. Prior to Melburg Capital, Ed was a Director in the JLL capital markets team, specialising in shopping centre investment and transacting on more than £850 million of assets.
Ed Ellerington, Managing Director of Packaged Living commented: “We are delighted to have secured the services of two highly experienced and knowledgeable individuals in Neil and Ed. Both have significant multi-disciplined transactional track records and will undoubtedly be great additions to our existing team. Since Packaged Living’s inception in 2018, we have grown our portfolio to over 4,000 rental homes in the Multi and Single-family housing sectors across the UK and expect to continue our growth trajectory over the coming years. To that end, Neil and Ed’s appointments come at a crucial period of expansion for the business and we look forward to working with them both.”
