Prior to setting up Packaged Living, Ed led Grainger Plc’s acquisitions team, investing over £500m in schemes across the UK including Clippers Quay in Salford, Finzels Reach in Bristol and the former Yorkshire Evening Post site in Leeds. Ed is a chartered banker with over 10 years’ cross border real estate experience in banking, private equity and fund management. A former Lombard Scholar and Freeman of London, Ed also holds an executive MBA from Regensburg University in Germany, where his thesis focused on residential investments products.
Alex served as an officer in the British Army before starting his financial career with Credit Lyonnais Securities in 1997. He then completed an MBA at London Business School before joining Sabre Holdings’ European Corporate Finance team. He joined Fiera Real Estate (formerly known as Palmer Capital) in 2003, initially charged with creating the fund management business within Fiera Real Estate. He was promoted to Chief Executive in 2008 and became Chairman of Packaged Living in 2018.
Ray has specialised in development and investment for 50 years. He became Chief Executive of Lambert Smith Hampton in his early 20s and remained in this position until 1992 when he established Fiera Real Estate (formerly known as Palmer Capital). Ray is Chairman of eight of the property companies in which Fiera Real Estate has a shareholding and takes particular responsibility for Fiera Real Estate’s balance sheet investments.
Mark is a Chartered Engineer and leads the Development side of the business. He is an experienced and recognised developer who has worked on numerous BtR schemes over a career spanning over 20 years. Most recently, Mark was Director of Development at Grainger plc, where he spent 10 years helping source and create the UK’s leading residential investment platform.
Managing Director, Single Family Homes
Prior to joining Packaged Living, Jonathon was MD of Atlas Residential UK, North American multifamily owner operator, where he was responsible for the acquisition, funding and stabilisation of a 1200 home UK BtR portfolio with a GDV exceeding £250m.
Before joining Atlas, Jonathon ran the London office of Carlton Group, a New York headquartered global boutique real estate investment bank focussing on corporate finance advisory, debt / equity placement and commercial loan sales. Jonathon is a member of The British Property Federation Build to Rent Sub-Committee, The Urban Land Institute Residential Council, Commercial Real Estate Finance Council Europe, Ministry of Housing Communities & Local Government Build to Rent Committee and a director of The UK Apartment Association.
Minty is responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of the overarching marketing strategy of Fiera Real Estate. Minty heads up the implementation of a comprehensive cross-regional marketing strategy to power traffic acquisition, reputation awareness of Packaged Living and overall brand recognition.
Steve previously worked for Henderson Global Investors (now TH Real Estate) after qualifying at DTZ Debenhams Tie Leung (Now Cushman & Wakefield). Steve joined Fiera Real Estate in 2006 as a Director and supports Packaged Living’s acquisition and investment process as well as its capital and debt raising efforts.
Graham trained as a Chartered Accountant with Simmons Gainsford LLP, a top 50 West End practice specialising in Real Estate.
Graham progressed to Audit Manager and joined Fiera Real Estate in 2014 as Group Finance Manager, being promoted to CFO in 2017. Graham provides Packaged Living with access to in-house financial support to support the company’s executives on both transactional and corporate matters.
Sophie qualified as an architect at leading BTR firm, Assael, and development manages core projects in the portfolio. She has led the planning and development of 1000s of BTR homes and is currently responsible for award-nominated Aubrey Place, Milton Keynes.
Peter is a Chartered Town Planner and is experienced in city centre regeneration. He is responsible for development managing a number of our multi-family housing schemes. Prior to joining the Packaged Living team, he worked for Turley, a leading planning consultancy, where he successfully navigated complex real estate projects through the planning system.
Acquisitions - Single Family Housing
Neil is a Chartered Surveyor predominantly focused on acquiring land for Packaged Living’s single family rent business. Neil brings 22 years of investment and acquisition experience on both immediate and strategic land having worked in senior roles at a number of UK housebuilders. Prior to this, Neil was a Director at Royal Bank of Scotland and CALA Finance.
Acquisitions - Multifamily Housing
Ed is part of the multi-family acquisitions team, primarily focused on the repurposing of commercial assets for BTR use.
Prior to joining Packaged Living, Ed was an Executive Vice President at Melburg Capital, a boutique real estate investment manager. His role at Melburg Capital encompassed the sourcing, funding and acquiring of real estate investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Melburg Capital, Ed was a Director at JLL in the retail capital markets team. Whilst at JLL Ed transacted on in excess of £850 million of shopping centres and built up a strong track record in identifying redevelopment opportunities as the retail market evolved.
Alex is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with experience in a variety of sectors including town and city regeneration and multi-use schemes. Alex has joined Packaged Living from a large independent property consultancy firm where he was responsible for delivering cost and project management services on a number of high profile projects. Alex is a development manager delivering some of the exciting projects within our portfolio.
