Prior to setting up Packaged Living, Ed led Grainger Plc’s acquisitions team, investing over £500m in schemes across the UK including Clippers Quay in Salford, Finzels Reach in Bristol and the former Yorkshire Evening Post site in Leeds. Ed is a chartered banker with over 10 years’ cross border real estate experience in banking, private equity and fund management. A former Lombard Scholar and Freeman of London, Ed also holds an executive MBA from Regensburg University in Germany, where his thesis focused on residential investments products.
Alex served as an officer in the British Army before starting his financial career with Credit Lyonnais Securities in 1997. He then completed an MBA at London Business School before joining Sabre Holdings’ European Corporate Finance team. He joined Palmer Capital in 2003, initially charged with creating the fund management business within Palmer Capital. He was promoted to Chief Executive in 2008 and became Chairman of Packaged Living in 2018.
Ray has specialised in development and investment for 50 years. He became Chief Executive of Lambert Smith Hampton
in his early 20s and remained in this position until 1992 when he established Palmer Capital. Ray is Chairman of eight of the property companies in which Palmer Capital has a shareholding and takes particular responsibility for Palmer Capital’s balance sheet investments.
Steven has significant cross sector and cross continent experience in real estate. Having founded Heriot Properties in South Africa in 1998, Steven has subsequently grown the business over the past 20 years to its position today as a leading property holding and investment REIT listed on the JSE. Steven won the Johnnie Walker Jewish Entrepreneurial Award in 2011 and holds an MBA from Heriot Watt University.
Paul is the CEO of Everglen Capital and an English qualified solicitor with over 25 years’ international experience. Paul is also a non-executive director of Stenprop Limited, a REIT listed on the JSE and LSE as well as a non-executive director of Transaction Capital Limited, a specialty finance company listed on the JSE. He is also a consultant to Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP.
Mark is a Chartered Engineer and leads the Development side of the business. He is an experienced and recognised developer who has worked on numerous BtR schemes over a career spanning over 20 years. Most recently, Mark was Director of Development at Grainger plc, where he spent 10 years helping source and create the UK’s leading residential investment platform.
Emma is responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of the overarching marketing strategy of Palmer Capital. Emma heads up the implementation of a comprehensive cross-regional marketing strategy to power traffic acquisition, reputation awareness of Packaged Living and overall brand recognition.
Darryll graduated from Queen Mary, University of London with MEng, Internet Computing & BSc, Electronic Engineering in 2004. He has held roles as Technology Enterprise Architect at Informa, Enterprise Architect at Tesco and, most recently, Director of Business Architecture at American Express.
Darryll has taken the lead on all aspects of innovation for Packaged Living, putting the customer experience at the heart of each scheme to develop the best in class, tech enabled assets.
Steve previously worked for Henderson Global Investors (now TH Real Estate) after qualifying at DTZ Debenhams Tie Leung (Now Cushmana & Wakefield). Steve joined Palmer Capital in 2006 as a Director and supports Packaged Living’s acquisition and investment process as well as its capital and debt raising efforts.
Graham trained as a Chartered Accountant with Simmons Gainsford LLP, a top 50 West End practice specialising in Real Estate.
Graham progressed to Audit Manager and joined Palmer Capital in 2014 as Group Finance Manager, being promoted to CFO in 2017. Graham provides Packaged Living with access to in-house financial support to support the company’s executives on both transactional and corporate matters.
